IIBAN was established on 27^th April 2011 after prior approvals from the Federal Ministry of Education and Federal Ministry of Justice. It was first approved as The Institute of Business Advisers (IBA) before the adoption of the new name that projects national image with a direct focus on International Business.

With a strong focus on delivering high quality output in teaching, training and research, IIBAN is an approved training non-profit professional organisation responsible for the assesment, accreditation and continuing professional development of international business advisors, practitioners and consultants in Nigeria.

Our training and educational policy development is in line with world class standard institutionin the international arena. The Institute bagged its global identity in 2014 after achieving international candidacy recognition approval of International Accreditation Organization on september 16, 2014.

The first IIBAN induction for new associate and fellow members was took place on August 12,2012 with new members onboarded from all parts of the country. We are commited to excellence in our teaching, training and research activities.

The Institute is connected to International business organization such as JP Western UK Ltd in the areas of providing products sales and customer mobilization for Nigeria exporters. This also includes market entry and business registration/ company formation support for Nigerian SMEs and business owners who wish to internationalise  expand their businesses outside the country while still in their home country.
